The technology:
Satellite dishes all use a signal sent from a satellite orbiting the earth at a fixed position. The way the signals get to you has not really changed much since its introduction over 20 years ago, what has changed is the content of the signal and the equipment used to watch it. At AB Aerials we only use quality materials ensuring the best reception possible. Old 36v motorised satellite has been superseded by small Diseqc technology, the motor is the size of a tin of beans, and providing you don’t want to use Arabsat @ 26oE or Nilesat @ 7oW then a 80cm dish will suffice to watch the rest.
